So this weekend I went to a christening with my boyfriend and his family so I wanted to look cute to impress his family. As we all know florals are still on trend this season just like they have been for a while now so I went with a floral dress I have had for a while.
I got this dress for a 21st about two years ago in Aware but I am still in love with it. It is made up of a dark brown slip with a sheer brown and purple floral dress over it. It pulls in at the waist to give an hour glass figure and then it skims over the hips and flows. It has the right balance between cute and girly with the short sheer sleeves. The pattern of this dress is not as fussy as some I have seen this season and the balance of flowers are perfect as it does not make your eyes go crazy!
I teamed this dress with a pair of black tights, a cream Aaron cardigan and a little black ankle boots with a heel. I also kept my make up and hair very simple so all the attention was on my dress. I curled my hair with a large barrelled curling iron and pinned each curl in a barrel until it had cooled. I kept my eye look simple with a light brown smokey eye, simple contouring and a deep burgundy lip.
